Connor Bennett…
—
is a Minnesota-based photographer, cinematographer, and visual storyteller. He explores the relationship between people, nature, and authentic human experiences. Drawing inspiration from the landscapes of the Midwest and the mountains of the American West, his imagery blends cinematic composition with natural light to create photographs and films that feel both timeless and emotionally grounded.
With a background in photography, film, and marketing, Connor approaches every project with an artist's eye and a storyteller's mindset. Focusing on creating visuals that evoke genuine emotion rather than simply capturing a scene. His work emphasizes movement, atmosphere, and the subtle details that often go unnoticed.
Growing up in Minnesota fostered a deep appreciation for the outdoors, which influenced both his creative process and visual aesthetic. From expansive mountain landscapes to intimate portraits, Connor strives to create imagery that encourages viewers to slow down and connect with the world around them.
As both a commercial creator and fine art photographer, Connor believes that powerful visuals come from authenticity. His goal is to produce work that not only looks beautiful but also tells meaningful stories that resonate long after the moment has passed.
Artist Statement
I am a photographer and cinematographer who is passionate about sharing portraits of people and the connection it has with street and landscape- urban rural, wild, and nature. As a kid, I grew up outside and to this day it is still where I find most emotion in my life. Winter photos of fishing with my friends. Skilled activities. This is where I love to be active and use my athletic ability to achieve a unique perspective that most people don’t get to see.
My work is primarily a solo endeavor, but I am excited about the possibility of collaborating with other media specialists in the future. By capturing the essence of the world in my art, I hope to cultivate a greater sense of connection and inspire others to see the significance of our shared human experience.
